A young family of three called for a renovation to a beautiful federation home in Subiaco.
The existing bathroom and laundry area was segregated from one another and during the briefing, we realised that a powder room was required for guests.
Designing a laundry with plenty of storage with the practicality was important. It was also important for the laundry to be tucked away so that the bathroom could present itself as its intended use.
Facing East, we aknowledged a lack of natural light in the afternoons which is why the skylight was implemented in both the powder and above the shower.
